EVERETT — A Snohomish woman who suffered critical injuries in a hit-and-run earlier this month has died.
Katherine Mueller, 31, was walking south on Eighth Avenue W at 128th Street SW just after midnight on June 6 when she was struck in the intersection by a westbound vehicle.
Mueller died Saturday at a hospital.
Her identity was released Wednesday by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. She died of blunt-force injuries.
The driver reportedly fled the crash scene just south of Everett, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
On June 8, the sheriff’s office posted a memo to Facebook asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect. Detectives believe the person’s vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper and the hood, as well as potential damage to the front windshield.
