SNOHOMISH — Police here are looking for a suspected bank robber who also may have struck in Arlington.
Just before 4:30 p.m. Thursday, a man entered Key Bank on Avenue D in Snohomish. He passed the teller a note implying that he had a gun and demanding cash, Snohomish police Cmdr. Fred Havener said.
The man then drove away in a royal-blue 1970s passenger car.
He is described as white, 5-foot-5 and heavyset. He had a scruffy beard and was wearing a dark jacket, white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Snohomish detectives are working the case alongside the FBI and Arlington police. They believe the same robber may have hit Chase Bank in Arlington in June.
