Age: 59
Occupation: Software developer.
Political experience: Former precinct committeeman.
Work experience: Our customers are the world’s top high-tech companies all over the globe. I have had to manage programmers, engineers, Web masters and salespeople. I train others to operate and maintain our product.
Personal experience: Since 1986, I have served as a guardian ad litem (court appointed special advocate for youths).
Top 3 issues: 1. The curricula have, for one reason or another, been “dumbed down.” We cannot permit this to continue. 2. We must begin offering more relevant courses so graduates from Snohomish High School will be qualified for entry-level positions in any enterprise and be eligible for advancement. 3. We must take better care of the taxpayers’ money; they are not, after all, bottomless pits.
