Snohomish scout earns Eagle rank

Joel Eric Buffum, 18, from Boy Scout Troop 137 of Snohomish, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. A special Eagle Court of Honor will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mountain View Community Church. Joel’s Eagle project involved collecting donations, purchasing materials and constructing an eagle flight cage for Sarvey Wildlife Center in Arlington. He is the son of Kevin and Cyndi Buffum. A 2006 graduate of Snohomish High School, Joel is a freshman at Whitworth College.
