SNOHOMISH — City officials are asking for donations from the community to help three neglected horses that were rescued this weekend.
The horses were found in dire condition in a Snohomish pasture Sunday. The city has set up a fund to help pay for the animals’ care and upkeep until new homes can be found for them.
Any donations of money can be mailed to Snohomish City Hall, 116 Union Ave., Snohomish, WA 98290. Checks should be made out to the City of Snohomish, referencing the Neglected Horses Fund.
If you want to donate supplies, find out what items the horses need right now by calling the Arlington Co-op at 360-435-3213.
