EVERETT — About an inch of snow is expected to fall overnight, but it could disappear by mid-morning.
Temperatures could hover around 30 degrees overnight, but the snow isn’t expected to begin falling until about 3 a.m., said Jay Albrecht, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Seattle. The snow is most likely to accumulate in the south Everett and north Lynnwood areas, he said, but probably won’t get more than an inch deep.
The snow is expected to turn to rain by mid-morning, he said.
Roads could be slick for the morning commute.
“We’re not looking at a lot of snow, but even a little bit, if the roads are frozen, can be a problem,” Albrecht said.
Areas in eastern Snohomish County, such as Darrington, could get three or more inches of snow overnight, he said
