SEATTLE — The first significant snow of the season fell overnight on highway mountain passes in Washington.
The Transportation Department reports slush Thursday morning on Snoqualmie, Stevens and White passes but no restrictions on drivers.
The National Weather Service forecasts showery weather with a few sunbreaks and low temperatures in the 20s into the weekend in Western Washington. Forecasters say lows in Eastern Washington will dip to the low 20s and light snow is possible through the weekend.
