Nearly 5,500 people are without power in north Snohomish County and Camano Island, as of 12:30 p.m. Monday. It’s unclear how long the power outage will last.
“Crews are continuing to work safely to restore power throughout the region due to snow and wind,” according to a Snohomish County PUD social media post.
Snohomish County PUD’s power outage map shows the number and location of outages. A spokesperson for PUD could not be reached, but a recorded message said there is no estimate for when power will be restored.
Jarrod Dibble, a spokesperson for the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management, said PUD has not contacted the department about safety concerns. Dibble did not have additional information about what caused the outage.
