Soap box derby winners off to Ohio

The Windermere Stanwood-Camano Island Soap Box Derby races were held June 16 at Arrowhead Ranch.

First-place winners Addison Inman (stock division), racing the Crow’s Nest, and Adrina Kwehlwein (super stock division), racing Oso Strong, will head in July to Akron, Ohio, to compete in the All American Soap Box Derby.

First-time racer Tabatha Holm, driving the Davis Place Teen Center car, won the Sportsmanship Award.

Second-place finishers were Bella Siddle (stock) and Auroaru Bosecker (super stock). Third-place finishers were Graham Gilday (stock) and Braddock Johnson (super stock).
