EVERETT – A young man was arrested for investigation of second-degree murder following the death of an Everett man who was struck by his son, police say.
Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives today continued to investigate the death of a man, 50, at his south Everett home early Saturday, sheriff’s Lt. Rodney Rochon said. The man’s son, 20, told detectives he hit his father after some sort of argument. The father reportedly fell down and stopped breathing. He couldn’t be revived.
After interviewing witnesses and serving a search warrant, detectives arrested the man’s son. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail Saturday evening.
