PORTLAND, Ore. — The 18-year-old son of former Oregon governor John Kitzhaber has been booked into a Portland jail on $150,000 bail.
Jail records show Logan Kitzhaber was booked into the Multnomah County Jail Wednesday afternoon on a warrant from Lincoln County.
The Oregonian/OregonLive reported it wasn’t immediately clear what charge or charges he faces.
In July, Kitzhaber was involved in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 101 north of Lincoln City.
State Police have said Kitzhaber, of Portland, was driving a Toyota Prius that sideswiped a motor home after crossing the centerline, causing it to roll onto its side.
The motorhome occupants — Stanley and Martha Lyckman of Port Angeles, Washington — were treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. Kitzhaber suffered serious injuries.
Court records show Kitzhaber said he drank a beer before driving that day.
