As we head into Red-Light-Camera Wars v.2012, we thought we could use some tunage.
For your enjoyment, we’ve created a YouTube playlist of songs revolving around themes of red lights, intersections, signs and cameras. We’ve vetted them for content, but don’t look too deep into their lyrics for hidden meanings: This is supposed to be fun.
In these times, we all could use a little more fun.
The playlist is embedded below, or you can listen here. Note, some songs may be embed-disabled but viewable on YouTube.
(If you’re not used to YouTube playlists, the videos will play automatically. If you go to the playlist on YouTube, make sure to click “Play All” in the upper-left corner. After a song begins, you can click to randomize the playlist if you wish by clicking the shuffle button in the bottom-left corner above the slider.)
We tried to find songs that cross genres and generations. If you think of an awesome addition, tell us in the comments below.
Here’s the tracklist, in random order:
Robert Johnson – “Crossroads”
David Nail – “Red Light”
The Traveling Wilburys – “Heading for the Light”
