Sound Transit bus, truck collide on I-90

MERCER ISLAND — A truck headed the wrong way in the eastbound I-90 express lanes in the Mercer Island area collided head-on with a Sound Transit bus Thursday night.

Police say no passengers on the full bus were injured although the bus driver suffered a minor injury.

KCPQ reports the truck driver fled on foot but is in the custody of Bellevue police.

The express lanes were temporarily closed after the crash.
