Voters in Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Woodway and the rest of the Edmonds School District have been returning ballots for the Feb. 9 special school-district election at a fast pace.
By Monday morning, 20.3 percent of registered school district voters had returned their ballots, with most expected to arrive Monday or Tuesday.
Voters could return their ballots by 8 p.m. at ballot drop boxes near the Edmonds library, in front of the Lynnwood City Hall or at 10 other sites around Snohomish County. Voters who send ballots by mail must send them in time to get a Tuesday postmark; that means dropping them at the Edmonds or Lynwood post offices by 5 p.m. or at the Perrinville post office by 6:15 p.m. They also can vote until 8 p.m. on an accessible voting unit at the Lynnwood Library.
