SPOKANE — Spokane police say they took three people into custody after two coffee stands were robbed within an hour and a half.
Police spokeswoman Teresa Fuller says a man who displayed a handgun fled from Hot Toddy’s with an undisclosed amount of cash just after noon Tuesday. Witnesses described a similar man holding up Brews Brothers and displaying a gun. That robber didn’t get any cash.No one was hurt. By about 1:30 p.m., police spotted a possible suspect vehicle and detained three people.
Fuller said police planned to book two of them for one count of robbery and one count of attempted robbery each. The third person was booked on an unrelated warrant.
