SPOKANE — The man who planted a bomb along the route of a Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade in Spokane has been sent to a federal prison in California.
KREM reports Kevin Harpham, 37, was transferred to the Herlong Correctional Institute, a medium-security prison about 50 miles northwest of Reno.
Harpham was sentenced in December to 32 years in prison for leaving a backpack with explosives along the route of the parade in January last year. It was found and disabled before it could go off.
