SPOKANE — The Spokane School District Board has found a way to save the jobs of 85 teachers who were on the layoff list.
KREM and KXLY report the board held a Wednesday night work session on a $13 million budget gap. The board has decided to cut administrative salaries and to reduce funding for special education assistants.
The board still has decisions to make on high school class sizes before taking a final budget vote Aug. 10.
