SPOKANE — Spokane officials say the dozens of people camping under the downtown Interstate 90 viaduct will have to move.
Officials announced plans Thursday to enforce the city’s ban on camping without a permit.
The Spokesman-Review reported campers will be given a 24-hour notice next week before police and code enforcement workers clear out tents.
Shelter and social services will be offered through the Spokane Homeless Coalition’s Interagency Outreach Committee.
