ARLINGTON — A 66-year-old Stanwood man was injured when the motorcycle he was driving hit a deer Wednesday afternoon on Highway 530.
The deer ran out onto the roadway in front of the man, who was then hit by a 55-year-old Stanwood woman on a second motorcycle. The pair were westbound on the highway near mile post 38 when the accident happened.
The man was taken by ambulance to Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington. The woman was not injured.
