STANWOOD — A 38-year-old Stanwood man was airlifted to a Seattle hospital Saturday after he was shot in the face, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting was reported about 5:30 p.m. in the 29700 block of 46th Drive NW. The man who was shot told deputies that the shooter was a neighbor, sheriff’s bureau chief David Bales said.
The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Information about his condition was unavailable Saturday night.
Investigators believe the shooter is a 52-year-old Stanwood man. Deputies were still looking for the suspect late Saturday night.
The incident remains under investigation.
