Stanwood planning panel needs 2 people

Stanwood city officials are looking for people willing to serve on the city’s Planning Commission.

Interested people who live within the city limits or in the city’s urban growth area are asked to apply to fill two vacancies on the board.

The commission advises the City Council on land-use and development issues. The term of office is five years. The planning commission meets the second and fourth Monday evenings of each month at the Stanwood Fire Station.
