SPOKANE — Eastern Washington farmers mingled with potential marijuana retailers at a workshop Wednesday in Spokane where the state Liquor Control Board explained how to obtain a license to grow and sell the drug under the new law.
One person at the meeting in the Spokane Convention Center told The Spokesman-Review (http://bit.ly/1hcfUA2) it was weird to be talking with government officials after “all those years underground.”
The workshop was one of seven the liquor board is holding to explain licensing procedures. Two were held previously in Ellensburg and Seattle. Another one is Thursday in Richland at the Shilo Inn Suites. Others will be Tuesday in Mount Vernon, Wednesday in Lacey and Nov. 1 in Vancouver.
