MARYSVILLE — The Washington State Patrol on Thursday revised its description of a two-car accident that briefly closed Highway 9 earlier this week.
A northbound Ford Expedition and a southbound Buick Regal collided head-on along Highway 9, Washington State Patrol trooper Keith Leary said.
An initial report switched the direction the vehicles were traveling, Leary said.
After the collision, the two vehicles came to rest in a ditch.
The accident near 60th Street NE led to a 20-minute closure on Tuesday of the highway.
Both drivers were sent to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett for treatment of injuries that weren’t life threatening.
