MONROE — Police found stolen credit cards Friday when they searched a Monroe home for drugs.
A search warrant was served at a home in the 18100 block of 154th Street in Monroe at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Monroe Police Department spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.
When officers arrived, the primary suspect, a man in his 20s, jumped from a window and fled, she said.
Officers were looking for him Friday afternoon.
Stolen credit cards, checkbooks and various drug paraphernalia were found at the home, Willis said.
She said officers also collected receipts showing that charges on the stolen credit cards exceeded $5,000.
It may take officers some time to investigate, but all owners of the cards found will be notified, she said.
Three more people found at the residence were questioned and released, Willis said.
She said all the suspects have criminal histories and are known to the police.
More arrests are expected and the investigation is continuing, Willis said.
