SEATTLE — Seattle police say attackers using stun guns have robbed three women in recent days in three different neighborhoods.
The victims have been alone and usually unloading their cars when they’re attacked. The robbers are described as two men and one woman. One victim was able to describe the robbers’ car. Police say they found it in a parking lot. It had been reported stolen.
Officer Renee Witt says a woman attacked May 17 in the Fremont neighborhood says she was zapped on the neck with the stun gun as she unloaded groceries. Two days later, a victim in the Crown Hill neighborhood says her attacker showed a stun gun but didn’t zap her. She fell and hit her head.
In the third attack, on May 20, police say the stun gun malfunctioned; the victim still lost her purse.
