SULTAN — A Sultan woman has been identified after she died in a single-car crash into a tree Friday.
Sarah A. Markley, 20, was driving north in the 16000 block of 311th Avenue SE in Sultan around 8 p.m., when she lost control of her vehicle, went off the road and struck a tree. She was pulled out of the vehicle and transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where she later died.
Snohomish County sheriff’s office detectives were investigating the cause of the crash.
Markley died of blunt-force injuries, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner reported Tuesday.
