The state Supreme Court has disbarred one Snohomish County attorney and disciplined two others, the Washington State Bar Association said this week.
All three agreed with a bar association disciplinary board about their punishment, according to the organization’s records.
Thomas J. Brothers, who practiced in Lynnwood, was disbarred for a variety of activities, including charging unreasonable fees, failing to deposit an advance fee into a trust account and continuing to represent a client while he was suspended from practice.
Two others have been suspended for different periods.
Richard H. Corbin, an Everett attorney, was suspended for two years for failing to file legal papers settling the estate of a client and other actions.
In Marysville, Richard W. Swanson was suspended for three months for “failing to act with reasonable diligence” in the representation of clients, disciplinary board documents said.
