LYNNWOOD — Officers have arrested a suspect in California in the fatal stabbing of a Lynnwood man, police announced Tuesday.
Lynnwood detectives believe the woman, 26, of the Chicago area, attacked Greg J. McKnight with a knife near the entrance of a Fred Meyer at 4615 196th St. SW.
McKnight, 62, died later that day from multiple stab wounds.
The main suspect, who appeared to be a young woman, fled in a sedan with black rims with two other people. Officers arrested the woman, 26, on Monday in the Oakland area.
Two other people present were interviewed but not arrested, police said.
No information about a motive was made public, except that there was some kind of dispute in the parking lot.
An investigation continues into what exactly happened.
