MILL CREEK — Police arrested a 43-year-old man Friday in connection with a series of burglaries in south Snohomish County and east King County.
He was taken into custody after reportedly breaking into an occupied Mill Creek apartment near 164th Street SE and Highway 527, according to a press release.
A tenant woke up to the suspect reportedly rifling through his possessions. The suspect ran away.
The tenant was able to provide a detailed description. An officer realized he passed the suspect on his way to the apartment building, according to a press release.
Other officers caught up with him. The man reportedly was holding the tenant’s possessions in his hands.
“Due to the nature of the break-in, we believe the suspect may be linked to several recent burglaries in Mill Creek and surrounding jurisdictions,” Mill Creek police Sgt. Rod Fleming said.
