LYNNWOOD — Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives have identified a suspect in a robbery at the Lynnwood Walmart store in October.
The man on Oct. 17 reportedly was trying to shoplift at the Walmart along 164th Street Southwest, officials said. He allegedly assaulted a security officer who confronted him.
Earlier this week, detectives asked for the public’s help finding a suspect. On Friday morning they announced that he’d been identified, but he wasn’t under arrest by Friday afternoon. No further details were available about the investigation.
The sheriff’s office is thankful to everyone who helped, sheriff’s bureau chief Kevin Prentiss said.
