Suspects sought in Everett home-invasion robbery

EVERETT — Police are searching for three suspects in a home-invasion robbery at an Everett apartment complex Tuesday morning.

A woman living in the 1000 block of W. Casino Road told police one of the men choked her after forcing his way into her apartment, police said.

The woman was treated by medics at the scene but the injuries were not serious enough for her to be taken to the hospital.

One of the men reportedly was armed with a small semiautomatic pistol, Everett police Sgt. John DeRousse said.

The men broke in a little after 5 a.m.

Officers searched the area and used a police dog to try to track down the suspects, DeRousse said.

Two of the suspects were described as white men. A third was believed to be a black man with light skin.
