EVERETT — Police and firefighters converged on a downtown Everett block Thursday morning to investigate a cooler with the words liquid nitrogen written on it.
It turned out to be someone’s lunch.
The initial concern was the cooler could contain hazardous materials, Everett fire marshal Rick Robinson said.
Around 10:30 a.m., a bystander moved the container to a sidewalk at the corner of Hewitt Avenue and W. Marine View Drive.
Firefighters trained to deal with hazardous materials opened the cooler to discover a lunch that included bananas and crackers.
