SPOKANE — A swastika was painted on a wall at Temple Beth Shalom in Spokane over the weekend.
The Spokesman-Review reported that the graffiti was discovered during Saturday’s Yom Kippur services. It was painted on the concrete wall in the synagogue’s enclosed courtyard.
Rabbi Tamar Malino says the congregation is working with Spokane police. Investigators are reviewing security footage.
The rabbi says the mark will be removed immediately.
