LYNNWOOD – A SWAT team negotiator coaxed a Lynnwood man out of a shed just after 5 p.m. and arrested him without incident.
The man had been hiding from police for more than an hour, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
Police were called to the scene after the man allegedly pointed a rifle at his neighbor during a dispute that began at about 3:30 p.m. today, Sessions said.
Police closed off the area and a SWAT team was called out, she said.
Homes in and around the 4500 block of 211th Street SW in Lynnwood were evacuated as police looked for the man.
Parts of 44th Avenue and 204th Street SW were closed during the incident.
No one was hurt, the streets were reopened and neighbors were allowed to return to their homes, Sessions said.
