TACOMA — A man suspected in a fatal shooting in Tacoma has turned himself in to authorities in the Los Angeles area.
KCPQ-TV reported that 29-year-old Robert Deshawn Grott surrendered Tuesday. His brother, 22-year-old Rashaad Dominique Grott, turned himself in to police in West Hollywood, California, last week.
Robert Grott is charged in Washington with first-degree murder for the killing of a man outside a convenience store Feb. 1.
Prosecutors said Grott fired 46 shots and hit the victim, 23-year-old Julian Jemar Thomas, more than 10 times.
Police believe Rashaad Grott drove his brother to California after the shooting. He has been charged with criminal assistance.
