TACOMA — Tacoma authorities say a hit-and-run collision sent a car over an embankment, leaving it sitting above a southbound I-5 off-ramp.
Fire officials said the crash happened just before 5 p.m. Monday.
KIRO-TV reported that two people got out of the car that was hit and one of them was taken to a hospital.
Fire crews worked to stabilize the car.
