TACOMA — Tacoma police have shot and wounded a bank robbery suspect.
Police spokesman Mark Fulghum said the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
A Columbia Bank branch in Tacoma was robbed Monday and the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Fulghum said witnesses gave responding officers a vehicle description and license plate number. Police found the abandoned vehicle and then the suspected bank robber, who was shot during a confrontation.
