The Edmonds Arts Commission presents two art exhibits by Edmonds students.
Edmonds-Woodway High School students Tina Masoum, Hannah Wechsler and Lukas Mraz created “Protect Our Bees” for On the Fence, a temporary public art program on the Frances Anderson Play Field fence on Main Street. After researching the depletion of bee populations, the students created four plywood hexagons pained with images of bees and honeycomb.
Indoors, Edmonds Community College student Nazar Patriy has two paintings featured in the Young Artist Display Case, “Ukrainian Household” and “Early Morning Song.” Patriy will attend Western Washington University this fall to study graphic and web design. He is the recipient of a 2018 Edmonds Art Festival Foundation Student Art Scholarship.
The Frances Anderson Center is at 700 Main St. Art will be displayed through August.
