Teen dead, another wounded in Tacoma shootings

TACOMA — One teen is dead and another is hospitalized after two separate shootings Sunday night in Tacoma.

KING-TV is reporting one incident happened around 8 p.m. in the area around 56th and G streets. Tacoma police say a group got into a dispute. During the argument, an 18-year-old man was shot and later died.

In a separate shooting 45 minutes earlier, a 19-year-old man was shot at N. Pearl Street and 37th. Tacoma Police say that man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police do not believe the two shootings were related and are searching for two gunmen.
