Emily Ovall, of Snohomish High School, was chosen for the All-National Honor Choir. The soprano will perform with the “best of the best” at the National Association for Music Education event Nov. 26-29 in Orlando, Florida.
Ovall is a member of SHS’s advanced treble ensemble Bella Concordia. She also sings with her church, and will perform with a 200-voice choir for a Reformation celebration, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond. (Find out more at nwreformation500.com.)
Two other area teens also will travel to Orlando in November as part of the All-National Honor Concert Band. Kevin Pessoa, of Kamiak High School, plays bass trombone. Jordan George, of Oak Harbor High School, plays tuba.
