Terrace couple drives into own living room

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — A couple’s car went the wrong way and ended up in their living room Sunday morning.

An older couple drove their car into the front wall of their apartment in the 5400 block of 244th Street SW, Snohomish County Fire District 1 Batallion Chief Scott Schroeder said.

Schroeder said the couple’s sport utility vehicle took out the front wall of the living room. One of the car’s doors was torn off and both sides were scraped, he said.

Schroeder said no one was injured.

The couple had to check into a hotel Sunday but the building could be fixed in little time, he said.
