MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Police in Mountlake Terrace are investigating a report that three men attempted to kidnap a woman early Thursday morning.
The Lynnwood woman, 23, called 911 about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. She told police that she was walking home in the 4600 block of 212th St SW.
She said she was approached by three Hispanic men in their mid-20s. They were reportedly driving a purple 1990s model Saturn sedan.
One of the men allegedly asked the woman if she needed a ride and tried to pull her into the car.
The man was described as having a goatee and wearing a white shirt, black pants and a silver necklace.
The woman was able to fight off the assailant and ran home where she called 911, police said.
The Mountlake Terrace Police Department is asking any witnesses or anyone with information to contact the police department at 425-670-8260 and ask to speak with a detective.
