MOUNTLAKE TERRACE – Police are searching for two men who allegedly kidnapped and robbed three teenage boys Monday night.
The three teenagers told police one of the men pointed a knife at them and ordered them to drive to the Lakeside Heights apartments in the 6300 block of St. Albion Way in Mountlake Terrace, said Mountlake Terrace Police Sgt. Craig McCaul.
The teens, two age 17 and one age 18, told police the men then robbed them. The trio then drove to a gas station at the intersection of 220th Street SW and 66th Avenue W. and called police about 7 p.m. Monday. None of the young men was hurt.
Officers went back to the apartment complex and found one suspect’s car. The man tried to drive away from police, then ran from the car, McCaul said. Officers searched the area but were unable to find him or the other suspect.
One of the men was described as about 6 feet tall, Hispanic, with short hair and “Jessica” tattooed on his neck. The other was about 5 feet 8 inches with long hair pulled back in a ponytail.
Anyone with information is asked to call Mountlake Terrace police at 425-670-8260.
