The best day to buy gas is…

The best day to buy gas if you’re looking to save money is Tuesday. That’s what smartphone app GasBuddy found in a three-month review of gas prices. In our state, the most expensive day to fill up is Saturday.

Gas prices are going up. And a holiday weekend is looming.

Traveling to Oregon or Idaho? The lowest gas prices for our next-door U.S. neighbors typically fall on Sunday; the most expensive day to fill up in both states is Thursday.

Nationwide, Friday was the most expensive day to buy gas and Monday was the best. Sunday offered the shortest lines with the second-lowest prices.
