GOLD BAR — A man’s body was found Monday morning near the Skykomish River, east of Gold Bar.
The location was just downstream of Big Eddy Park, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The man is believed to be 44, homeless and known to stay in the area. A relative went looking for him after not hearing from him for several days, the sheriff’s office reported. The relative found the body about 10 a.m.
The man’s name was not released Monday. His death remains under investigation pending an autopsy.
