CASTLE ROCK, Colo. — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding three police dogs that were stolen from a Larkspur kennel.
Sgt. Ron Hanavan says someone stole the dogs — two males and a female — from Gunbil German Shepherds sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday. The pure-bred German shepherds are trained to attack and can be aggressive toward other animals.
Hanavan says for that reason, people who know where the dogs are should stay away from them and call 911.
