LYNNWOOD — Thousands of homes and businesses lost power Tuesday afternoon as strong winds toppled power lines.
Snohomish County PUD officials said a substation was knocked offline, likely due to gusty winds knocking over trees.
Power was restored to almost all customers by evening, officials said.
The high winds subsided Tuesday night.
