SAMMAMISH — An online threat of a shooting at Skyline High School in Sammamish prompted officials to close the school Thursday in the Issaquah School District.
Police and the King County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the threat, which circulated on social media and was accompanied by a photo of a gun.
The school district issued a statement Wednesday night saying it was closing Skyline High School on Thursday out of an abundance of caution for the safety of students and staff.
