Three days to file for Fire District 24 position

DARRINGTON — The county auditor plans a special three-day candidate filing period for a vacancy on the Fire District 24 Board of Commissioners.

The special filing period for Position 2 begins today and continues until 5 p.m. Friday.

Fire District 24 is located in the Darrington area. The individual elected to Position 2 will fill the remaining four years of an uncompleted term.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to go to the Snohomish County Elections website at www.snoco.org/elections to view candidate information or call at 425-388-3444.
