Rotary Club members from throughout the state met Monday at the Capitol in Olympia to honor Rotary Week, a commemoration of the centennial celebration of Rotary International, which officially began Feb. 23, 1905.

You can, at “Financing Nonprofit Facilities in Today’s Economy,” 9 a.m.-2:45 p.m. March 31 at the Everett Events Center.
This program is for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are planning a capital campaign or preparing to expand their organization. It is sponsored by the state Housing Finance Commission in partnership with United Way of Snohomish County and the Greater Everett Community Foundation.

Stanwood seniors need volunteers
The Stanwood Senior Center needs volunteers for its bingo program. Times are 11 a.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Sunday.
The center’s thrift store also needs volunteers to sort donated items and act as cashier. Plus, its Wellness Program needs assistance with a monthly tea, transporting seniors to medical appointments and taking seniors to NOAH.

Little Red School House’s 15th annual Challenge for Children Bowlathon will be March 12 at Brunswick Majestic Lanes, 1222 164th St. SW, Lynnwood.
